So it needs the front seal on the PS pump, leaks almost as fast as I can fill it, but it works with fluid in it, took it for a burn and it rips pretty good.

I`ll be honest I`m little disappointed in its condition overall, but I am capable of getting everything fixed in due time. :)

Given the age and climate, that truck is not bad at all. Should clean up well.

Well I was supposed to be out of town today and for the rest of the week but job got pushed back a day, SO. I picked up a front seal for the PS pump, some cheap 15w-40 and some Rislone and $5 oil filter. Got home and removed the PS pump and R+R`d the front seal (it was hard as a rock), filled it up with some left over ATF from the garage and its good now. I filled the cooling system with about 10 quarts water ( ) and could not find a leak any were. I ran it until it got up to temp (the temp gauge works!!) then dumped the oil and filter, put in the cheap 15-40 and rislone and ran it a bit more. I checked all the lights and they work minus one clearance light in the RR tail light and none of the roof lights work... That`s all I did today, I`l let the rislone sit in it for the rest of the week and break down any deposits inside. *Oh, forgot to mention not even a spec of metal on the Drain plug!

Hopefully on Saturday I will change the oil over to the good stuff and flush the PS. If I get really carried away I may change the oil in the trans and pop the rear diff cover and inspect and fill with new oil. (ALL AMSOIL BTW!) :rocker:
