calling it the scottsdale? that used to be a pretty cheap version was it not??? like a curent W/T???
Yeah I was thinking the same thing, Cheyenne would have been better in my mind. The early 70 Cheyenne's were top of the line trucks. Scottsdale screams cheap to me.

Isn't the Cheyenne name used south of the border, though? Having that as a trim level up here and a product down there might confuse a bunch'a folks.. :dunno:

I agree with you, by the way... I'm just thinking of why they probably didn't use that name..

i think i`ve seen cheyenne here too.... not 100% sure.

But lets be honest, if they don`t uses these tried and true names, then were in for some really lame new ones, i don`t know of any great names in the last 10 years fro anything.

I'm not sure if they use it south or not. But with Chevy's great wisdom leading this project there is really no telling how they arrived at Scottsdale again. Lack of originality I guess.:dunno:

Done right, I would be all over a truck like this.

I'm with daddy though. I would also love to see a SS version. It wouldn't take much to put ttogether a sweet SS. Lowered, 2 wheel drive, custom seats, retuned 6.2/6 speed...

I'd rather see an SS than a Denali clone, personally.
I agree. A true SS would be a RCSB AWD with at least 500 HP. Hopefully out of a factory supercharged 6.2.

That's a truck I'd stand in line for.:tmc:

But they'd probably just make it out of an overweight and too long crewcab. I'd have to pass then.
