Damn it all to hell, it's raining out and my front porch had wet paint last night!!!!!! Kids decided to help with some of the other stuff, now I have to redo some things. When I was a kid, we did it without being told, and did it great!!! Kids these days..

Just rinsed off the vinegar cause if you leave it on for too long, it will so more damage than good. It's very corrosive over long periods of time.

I'm going to finish the bookcase this morning. After cleaning the fish tank and cleaning out the Guinea pig's cage.
Then into the garage she will come so I can remove the hood and get some more leverage applied.

So this morning I cranked on the bolts again. First I tried to loosen, nothing. So I tried to tighten. Got about 1 turn out of each one. Then tried to loosen again. OUT THEY COME. So now there is a 40 year old CARB sitting on my work bench. Fuel line is clamped off and I covered all open "holes" with some paper and tape. It is raining out. So tomorrow I'll work on it some more. Have to remove the exhaust manifold for new system going in. And I have a new intake manifold with "more flow/room". So, I have another day of removing bolts that are corroded in. I have taken pics this whole time, but it's a PITA to resize each one to post.
So I'll do a How To thread later.

You can do a carb replacement how to and a removing rusty bolts how to. I always get pissed if they don't come out right away and go straight to oxy- fuel. Rusty bolts is the reason I want to get as much done to my truck before winter as possible just need to pick up more overtime.
