I bought my F-150 from them and they were awesome. Really nice people and would fix just about anything the customer thought was wrong with the vehicle. The last time I dealt with Barts was 9 years ago. They were extremely nice and bent over backwards to get the deal that you wanted.
That's where my truck came from as well, but they had a store in South Bend then.I bought my F-150 from them and they were awesome. The 3.5 is definitely the best of the old 60V6s. Of course the 2.8, 3.1, and 3.4 didn't set the bar very high. Also, kinda sad it took GM almost 25 years (2.8 in 1980 in the otherwise awesome Citation to the 3.5 in the 04 Malibu) to finally make a decent engine out of it.

The 3.5 isn't an old 60V6, it's one of the new ones
It's about time GM put new technology into it, though...
They've always been solid engines... Even the bastard TDOHC 3.4![]()

Good luck. I know several people with that previous body style of Malibu. They're a little small inside for my liking, but that's because I'm a big dude.
We really like our 07 Impala. I bet you could get 10 dead hookers in the trunk, if that's important to you![]()
