After dealing with dealers for many years in my line of work, I don't trust them any further than I can throw them. Half of the "certified" mechanics... er... uh... technicians are often flunkies from a tech school with little experience and even less sense.

All dealers have one or two really good techs... but your chance of him working on your car are slim (especially if it's in for warranty work).

I agree. I was fresh out of GM ASEP Tech program... and worked at the dealer too while in the program. While at my dealer some of those techs there were scary... asking me questions.. and I was still super fresh with book experience and trying to learn real world techniques.

That camaro deal is BS, and they should take it to a news channel.

That's exactly what needs to happen. I'd take the recording to anyone that wanted to listen until General Motors did something about it. At least get it out there in the area of that dealership to let people know they have a few knuckledraggers there beating on people's cars. I'm sure that dealership would make it right as soon as the local news got wind of it.

Video removed. damn. Wanted to hear exactly what happened. I actually heard this on my local radio station yesterday, way up here in PA. So it is country wide news now! There is definitely some legal stuff getting involved now I imagine.
