I'll tell ya Hitachi is a hell of a brand. The guns are a bit pricey but the nails are cheap and they come in full head and clipped head. This is kinda my deal at work if ya couldnt tell  other brands are Bostich which is the opposite on the gun is cheaper but the bostitch brand nails are expensive. Senco is a good gun too we just dont sell much of them in the Wichita area.

+1

As I said in the other thread, stay with Hitachi or Senco. Nails are available almost everywhere. Many big lumberyards will service them and provide most repairs free of charge, since you're probably buying the fasteners from them. Some of the cheaper guns are more trouble to service or get services performed on them. Not to mention since they are cheaper, don't always handle rough service or abuse

The only lumberyards we have here are lowes, home depot and 84 lumber.

Central Pneumatic is the harbor freight brand. Depending on which model it is they go for 75 new when not on sale. Not worth it. If you want a cheap one to hopefully get you through this job buy a new one from HF. If you want a decent one there's plenty of recommendations here. Most important part is finding somewhere that offers parts and or repairs locally and seeing what brands they carry parts for. The best gun on the market is useless if you can't get it repaired locally.
