Buying a Harley

so i just found out that harley dealers charge $995.00 for set up for a new bike... WTF for? that should be in the MSRP.. or am i wrong here?

HD is a total rip off company. They screw you and you are supposed to act like you like it just because it's a Harley.

Fukkem if you ask me. I would not waste my money there.

It's too bad because the bikes are cool.

It's a shame the dealers make it such a sucky experience to buy one. They are arrogant pricks mostly. The Local dealer in New Braunfels is friendly but they still play the big money game. Most of the bikes they sell have been loaded up with high dollar (HD) accessories.

Unfortunately, used HD's cost almost as much as new HD's. I am not a bike guy, but I think I would find another brand if it were me.

Buy metric. Better made. Longer lasting. Cheaper to buy and operate.

But you can't convince the guy who has that HD gleam in his eye. That's how they **** ya.
