Hi everyone!

So the time has come to finally start building a complete system for my 94' GMC 2500 ECSB. It sounds a hell of a lot better now then it did when i was still running all stock components
But anyways currently I'm running a Sony Xplod CDX-CA710 head unit, 4X6 Sony Xplod 140 watt (peak) front speakers, 1" Super Tweeters (mounted below the dash), and stock 4X6 rear speakers.

The plans for the new line up are as follows:
Keep my current Head Unit (But open to possibly picking up a different one)
4" Pioneer coaxials (Custom mounted into the lower door panel)
6"X9" (not sure on the brand yet) Speakers custom mounted in the the rear pillars
A single 8" Sub Woofer (up-firing, sealed box) (leaning towards Rockford Fosgate) I don't want the lows to hit super hard, as i don't listen to any hip/hop or rap but just want a good full sounding sound system
No idea on what route I'm going to go for an amplifier quite yet, so any input on that would be appreciated!

So that's where I'm at right now, any ideas, comments, questions, concerns etc are greatly appreciated! Thanks for looking guys!

Baron look at this site www.halfpricecaraudio.com im ordering my amp install kit from them and they have free s/h I bought some MaAudio 4x6 speakers for my dash and they sound much better that some MTX speakers I had there now the tweeters stick up above the dash but I have a dash matt so it works for me now im also running some Polk 4x6 speakers in the back panels they look like the material is kevlar they sound good but im also thinking of putting some 6x9 speakers in boxes where the 4x6's are im thinking of just bolting them to the back pillards then install the speakers in them sounds easier than cutting in the metal so they can fit.

I have my 12'' MTX speaker right snack in the center of the back seat now and im going to get my son-in-law to install a MTX amp for it. I also have a 4 channel Alpine amp that I want him to run with my Apline head unit. I might put some Audiobahn tweeters on the lower dash as you did.

I hope this helps you with my idea's in what im going with. Let us know how things turn out. Another good site is caraudio.com also look on craiglist.org or a amp or your local pawn shops.
Good luck! Roland :tmc:
