I've just had people see my truck and say, "OMG HOW DO YOU DRIVE SUCH A GAS-GUZZLER?" And like most people, once you start in with facts and figures, their arguments lose some steam :lol:

i have the 91 nite..and thr 96 merc tracer...if i had the $$ like you say you do..i wouldnt put all my $$ in a new car...i would save what i could and spend what i must..if the truck you have is running good whats the point in getting a new one? if you want newer go out and find a used one in good shape and save some of that $$ for hard times man...

My 97 K1500 is 13 years old, 90 C2500 20 years old, and 67 f100 is 43 years old. Want something newer also.

There isn't anything wrong with that, not to mention you're planning on paying cash so it's not like you're diving into debt.

Understandable, but certainly different than what you originally posted about gas prices. :thumbs:

I know. The money wife has coming to her is enough to pay cash in full for new Chevy 3500 4x4 duramax w/alison trany crewcab long bed. She said she buy it for me.

I'd either work on my house, pay it off or invest that kind of money if you already have vehicles that run, but that's just my opinion.

If you do get a truck, get one a little less expensive and then MOD THE **** OUT OF IT!!! :thumbs:
