Broken passenger side OEM bucket seat.

The other day I used the lever on the side of the passenger side seat and leaned the backside of the seat all the way as far as it would go to haul some stuff through the back window.

After unloading what was being hauled I bring the back side of the back up and now all it does swing wont latch to stay in place. The whole seat wont stay in place either when sliding it forward or backwards too.

97 K1500 ext. cab 3dr

Bring the seat back ALL the way forward as far as it will go, it should re set.

Sounds like the spring isn't releasing the stop to go into place on the slider rail. Might be just a couple small parts to fix if it isn't the stop wedge worn out.
