my parents got a Hustler a few years ago, first mod was to put on the spring'd front wheels, rides sooo much better as it can take bumps better. what engine did you get with it? we got the Kawasaki 21hp, more than enought power to get over any hills while mowing.

just be carful, it can do wheelies :D

24HP Kawasaki. It doesn't have the flex forks but I am currently looking around for the best deal on them. $240 ain't bad for a cushy ride.

Sweeeeet. Convinced my bosses to buy an X-One-i last summer, it's a damn solid machine.

I looked at the i but prefer the separate pump and wheel motors. The integrated ones are great for the manufacturing side since there are less parts, hoses, fittings, etc. to assemble but repair or replacement is going to be much more expensive.

I agree completely, but the initial cost of the mower was a HUGE deal to my bosses (not sure why, they're fucking loaded). I had a hard enough time convincing them to get a new mower period, but I think they realized I was right when cut time went from 10 hours a week to 5.5. (This was a 10 acre property with a couple of fruit tree orchards, each with about 50 trees. Talk about a pain in the ass to mow...)

Yeah, I only have about 2 acres that need mowing but I have a lot of trees, so for me, mowing the yard quickly is great but being able to mulch and remove the leaves in the Fall is even more important. I could have gone smaller if it was just for cutting grass.

Now, where to mount the stereo???

I could mow my grass in 11 seconds with that.
