Bought A New Mower

Picked up one of these yesterday. It'll be delivered on Friday. 60" Hustler X-One. 5-yr, 500-hour warranty.

The 15-year-old Cub Cadet was put out to pasture last year and with the sun trying it's damnedest to peek out, I figured it was time.

The Cub had the hydraulic pump go out for the second time last year and then after I rebuilt it and got it going, it lost a coil. That doesn't seem that bad except to fix it requires pulling the engine. When I pull it and fix it, it's going into a golf cart, not back in a mower that will undoubtedly see something else break soon.

That excuse is good enough, right?

I really do want to pull a wheelie in a golf cart.

You are going to love it T. Your mowing time will be cut in half. I only have a 48" ExMark Laser Z HP and it does an excellent job. That 60" will rock for sure!

I just got mine out yesterday and washed it down and greased it up before I lost sunlight. Tomorrow I'll change out the blades and it will be ready for my first mowing, which will be Friday if the rain holds out.

Be sure to disconnect the governor on the cadet engine when you install it in the golf cart. That is, if they still come with governors on them. That new one looks like it might cut some grass.
