Thanks everyone. I am loving it so far. Once you get used to a diesel it is hard to go back to a regular gasoline commuter car.

I only had it for 18 months, but I loved my 2010 Jetta Sportwagon diesel. I got 42MPG over the life of the car, and during the warmer months would average closer to 46-48MPG per tank. I have a 45 mile commute each way and only had to fill up every 10 days. It's got to be awesome with that huge fuel tank they put in the Passats!

I am actually spending $10 less per week on fuel over the Honda accord I had and that car was great on fuel. I know I have a payment now but I wanted a new spacious vehicle for the baby girl that is coming soon. I have a 60 mile round trip give or take commute during the week and I am really loving this car. I would definitely be jumping on a ram ecodiesel if I was shopping for a truck right now.

Nice car.
I'm jealous.
I bet you can do like Nick does with his Jetta and run vegetable oil in it. I think he said he mixes it with the diesel to no more than a 50/50 ratio and it works out just fine.

And why would they put a few 160mph speedo in that car. A lot of car manufacturers are doing that now. Why have a speedo that goes up to 140, or 160 when the car has a governer that won't let it go but maybe 100mph or so?? :dunno:

Congrats on the new ride! I am hoping the diesel cruze comes out! Looking for a account manager vehicle!
