Biggest tire for a 2006 Silverado

Ok...so, I am wondering what the biggest tire I can cram onto my stock 17" rims with ZERO clearance issues at the stock height.

I do plan on raising the front an inch or so when I get tires...but things may change.

I tried searching on GMT...but we all know how well that search function works.

I will either be going with BFG A/T KO or Bridgestone Dualer A/T Revos if that makes a difference.

I heard your truck was already slow.

31.6" is typically the largest tire on a stock gmt800. That's what I'm running and it's plenty big.

Yup, 285's. The speedo isn't that big of a deal. It's only 2 or 3mph off at 65.

31.6" is typically the largest tire on a stock gmt800. That's what I'm running and it's plenty big.

So a 32x10.5R17 or 32x11.5R17 if the extra width won't hurt (it's .5" wider than a 285)

It's a truck tire... Use truck sizes!

Most LT tires are about .5 inches smaller than what they're advertised as... So a 32" tire will come to 31.5" when it's mounted.

But with the BFG no 285 will fit in that 31.6" largest size...
The 245/75R17, though, is 31.6" tall
