Looks like you need to find a local shop...not COSTCO...where somebody has a little sense...
I couldn't / wouldn't put up with that kind of BS at all.
I would probably hurt somebody and then have to be bailed out of jail...
Oh, I agree 100%, and there's a local shop that gets most of my business. The only reason I took the truck to COSTCO is because the rotation and balance is free, part of the price I paid for the tires through them, and is required for their warranty. Since I know I'll be filing a claim for some new tires in the future, because these are a little too aggressive for the front wheels and are cupping badly, I want it on record with COSTCO that the tires were rotated and balanced at the proper time, in their own shop.
Besides, my local shop that I like gets $14 per wheel for rotate and balance, and I didn't have the $84 (+tax and tip) to pay for it.
