Wow!Sounds like you've given them more time than you should have
This is the reason I get my tires done at Tire shops. The local Goodyear shop may not be the cheapest, but I've never once had a issue with them.

It wasn't an option at the time I needed the tires. The local shops all wanted $200+ per tire and my budget was $1,100 for six... and I couldn't put it off any longer because I was missing too much work.

damn costco sucks! I had a friend there for 4 hours this week stranded cuz the tire shop did the same to her!

I have been doing business with them for 25 years or so.
They do pretty well... at least so far.

Yeah, there is, but of the two tires my choice came down to, the BFG and the Goodyear Duratracs, they had a 6 week waiting list for the Duratracs, and two weeks for the BFG's. And their price for the BFG's was $178 per tire, which would have put me over budget after taxes, installation, disposal fees, etc. I got the BFG's from Costco for $151 each

Something I should mention... These tires were bought immediately after the snowstorms that hammered this area last February. Finding a full set of six snow rated tires in any brand or size was difficult because the stores and warehouses were sold out.

So, it's not just my local Costco? Now I'm kinda glad I contacted the Attorney General's office. If this is a widespread problem with Costco in general then several states may decide to band together and go after them in federal court for this crap.

Well, the store manager finally decided to contact me. He called yesterday while I was at work and told my wife that if I bring in the truck "right now" they'll be happy to do the work. WTF? He thinks I have nothing better to do than sit around for four days, waiting for him to call so I can immediately drop everything and rush right over there? Oh, and no apology or anything, just that if I want it done I had to bring it over right that minute. Fwonker!
Oh, and something interesting I found out... I stopped at the radio shop yesterday to pick up my new portable, and somehow the salesman and I got on the subject of Costco. Turns out he used to work in that very same Costco, and knew the guy that I had the screaming match with. Turns out, from what he said, more than once this guy has gotten his ass kicked by customers, both in the store and in the parking lot after work, because he's such an asshat.
