Alright here's the skinny. I've got my eye on an STS turbo kit for my truck, BUT my engine being stock would only hold about 5-7psi of boost. So my question is.. What and where could i find different aftermarket internals to handle the boost? Examples, cranks, pistons rods rear end and a tranny upgrade. Would i have to look into pulling LS1 parts that would fit in my engine without bore or stroking? :wtf:

That should add some pretty decent power...wouldn't it?

Not really, I am sitting over 500HP on my 5.3L. Just need a few mods added to the engine.

How are your's used? On a track or getting groceries?
Not trashing, just saying I get the impression he's looking to use his power.

It has never been taken to an actual track but she definitely sees her fair share of spirited driving. We are hoping to get her to the track once the weather gets better.

EDIT: I think she should do ok, have made some changes since these videos...

That link is to a LS327/327 crate with a bigger cam and Grafal-coated high-silicon pistons which Tobias recommended going too. It looks kind of what im going for, but im not sure if it will swap right in no problem. And i think it would have no problem holding onto 600+ wph. Yay/Nay?

For that price, why not look for a low mileage 6.0? I got an LQ4 with 25k on it out of an '06 Denali for under $2k.
