Paypal is the only method of payment accepted on almost every Ebay transaction now.

I only pay by US Postal Money Order on ebay. So far every seller i asked said they would take a money order.

Some seller s might but it's against the EBAY rules. Here is a quote dorectly from Ebay's rules page.

Notes:

  • Payment by personal check, cashier’s check, bank-to-bank transfers, or money order isn't allowed for most eBay purchases.
Some sellers may skirt the rules, but most require Paypal.

Most!

The only reason ebay wants you to use paypal is so they get their share

ANY for sale item, or regular auction forbids any payment method other than Paypal. Don't know why you guys insist on trying to see a way around that. It's simply how they do business... since they own Paypal. I think Cars and Real Estate are exempt.

I'm not trying to find a way around it... I use paypal... I just haven't sold anything so I never really paid much attention to it.

But that's still why they force the use of paypal... So they can get the extra profit!

Paypal fees on the shirt and decal sale add up. Fee on a shirt is almost $1, like $0.87 or something. I can see that getting costly when selling big ticket items.

The only thing I like from Autozone are the Duralast batteries. I've bought a few courts of oil, some paint and some bulbs, but that is as far as I go with Autozone.

Bernie, why would you buy OEM when that is what broke? Mine is broken on the driver's side too; very common on the 400's.

Because it took 11 years for the OEM one to break, but the non-OEM one has only a 60 day warranty.

You are right!

Oh, so this PayPal thing only applies to SELLERS, not buyers?
In that case, we are all good for purchasing using it. Right?

Correct. The government wants to know how much sellers are collecting so that they can make sure income taxes are being paid up. They don't care how much we spend.

Good point. Mine broke last year. I waiting to replace it for when I put the different set of doors on (I'm the only one that drives it anyways).

Thanks for the clarification! I'll never sell anything to add up to $600 anyways even if I did sell something.

Okay, so on Wednesday, the 25th, I ordered these on eBay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...rksid=p2759.l1259&item=370414585177&viewitem=

Then, last night before I went to bed, I got an email from the seller that they had been shipped. Not bad, considering I'd placed the order late on the 25th.

Since they were coming from California via UPS Ground, and I'm in Virginia, I figured I'd get 'em sometime next week.

So imagine my utter shock a few minutes ago when UPS rang my bell and handed me the package.

That's right, door-to-door, coast-to-coast delivery in about 16 hours! And yes, the package is marked UPS Ground. UnfWONKingbelieveble...!!

Unfortunately... there was only one fWONKing handle in the package! For the fWONKing driver's door, not the pair that I paid for, and not even for the side that's broken. :fume:

I checked the package and it's marked "1 of 1", so there's no second package that'll show up later, and the packing slip inside shows just the one handle, for the left side.

FWONKERS!!

On the plus side, it is a very nicely made handle, and should work fine.

But I want the fWONKing passenger side!!! :crybaby:

I sent an email to the seller, we'll see what happens.

:(

Okay, I just got a reply back from the seller. It seems the two different handles were being shipped from two different locations (WTF?), so that's why I got only one in this box.

Even though the label on this one says it came from Rancho Cordova, CA, it was actually shipped from Danville, VA, which is about 125 miles away. That explains the fast delivery.

Oh, the other handle? It's being shipped from fWONKing Tempe, AZ, and has only made it as far as Phoenix so far. Expected delivery date is showing as next Thursday... :(

Hello, above, please find your two tracking numbers. Your order shipped from separate facilities so each will show 1 of 1. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused.

If you have any other questions, please let us know.
