I don't know about different areas, but I've only seen a handful of them around here since they've been out.

huh, makes sense business wise to them, focusing on their core vehicles. I fear though what will current owners think? will they ditch their trucks? that could mean alot of used trucks for cheap. This will/could increase north american vehicle truck sales.

I haven`t realy heard anything good or bad, other than they go through gas just aswell as any other truck on the road. I do know their 0-60 times are quick due to their 6 speed trans and low gearing.

It's not heaven . . . it's Iowa!
Interesting . . .

They aren't as common as GM/Ford around here, but you do see them around.

Of course, the Camry and cars are VERY prevalent. Makes sense I suppose.

I bet my boss (ex boss now) is gonna not be too happy, since he just bought a new Tundra this past week. He was actually gonna get a Silverado or Sierra, but ended up getting a better "deal" on a Tundra. :dunno:

Wow. I wonder what this really means. Are they going to stop production in the next couple of years or are they just going to slow down their development cycle?

I kinda thought that they had a batter chance at going forward over Nissan... It seems hard to tell but both company's had great expectations even futuristic plans of work trucks and now its clear that it was just an idea...
Its still unclear if Nissan will even have a truck after 2010 since the falling out with Dodge to provide them with a truck..

Its still kinda a surprise that Toyota would be dropping out of the truck world after thinking that they finally got it right even after coming in first place over GM for whatever period of time.

in arizona i don't see them a lot but here in hawaii they are popular...all years. i'm just not a fan though i hear they perform well. toyota has gotten away from what most people think of them i'd say. but its a tough time for business....they're not the #1 seller of trucks, so why waste the money. it's not like trucks are the number one seller right now for anyone. anywho.......
