What year is the engine ?

don't know. really don't know any specific details on the entire set up. passed down word of mouth. some how, the odometer only reads 42K. could this be original miles? i'm lost. need help. all i know is i have a bad ass truck now. so i'm told. thanks again.

Looks like a newer engine. Or at least newer heads, because of the bolts in the center of the valve covers.

Looks like a newer engine. Or at least newer heads, because of the bolts in the center of the valve covers.

if its a new engine would, the previous owner been able to reset/install a new odometer? resulting in the 42K miles it reads now? the 2nd owner, person i bought it from said 1st owner, did have head work done. though didn't know what specifics.

Good point. I would be skeptical that those are original miles but this gives some validity to that.

negative, in S.D. now. if in hawaii, it could be very legit that it was only driven that much. but here in SD? i mean, thats only like 1K miles a year. smh, i'm just so confused! ha ha!
