How often does the dig ride with?

As much as possible. I try to get her out to the baseball field every day, if possible. If not I at least take her out with me when I go to grab a bite to eat. She loves riding in the truck. They aren't long rides by any means....it's just that she sheds so often that the windows being down blows it everywhere.

I just try to keep on top of it with a hand vac. Sometimes (like during the school year) it's almost impossible, though, so it just builds up.

I really hate that my carpet gets covered in dog hair, but I love my dog more than my truck.

I'd burn mine to the ground before I'd let something happen to my dogs, so I completely understand.

BUT, I might suggest using something like this until those moments where you need it clean for a date, etc. and then peel it up just for that. You could leave it on the carpet the rest of the time to save yourself the hassle on those special occasions where you actually need it completely clean.

That's not a bad idea. I may stop by (a Lowe's just opened up five minutes from me....bad thing) and see what they've got.

I actually have seat covers for when she gets muddy (which she loves to do). They just don't help protect the carpet when hair is flying everywhere.

And yes you can bet I detail the chit out of my truck before going out on a date. If they see how much dog hair is in my truck there's no way they'd come back to my apartment.

My dog has never been in my truck. And I still am covered in dog hair when I get out of it, even when I go in completely clean. I just vacuumed it out about 2 months ago.

I swear the bastard teleports the shit.

i should start carrying rolls of this stuff in my jeep... might save me all the money of dismantling the interior to get dirt, small plants, and such out of the crevices when i take my doors off...

All joking aside, this seems like a really good thing for dog owners.
