I`ve been pondering the thought for several weeks now of doing a truck project.
Essentially picking up a 73-91 Old square body Crew Cab 4x4 GM truck (dually or single) and also picking up a salvagable Truck that has a Duramax/Allison Combo and doing a transfusion.
Been shopping around for trucks of either and I`m thinking could get a solid truck (73-91) running or not for less than 3k, then find a donor unit for 5k ish. (still hunting)
I would prefer a straight solid truck, but don`t mind doing a little body work, it can be running or not, just mainly want the front and rear axles in and running order.
With then finding a donor that simply has the engine and transmission that are easily usable I would fuse the two together and have a great (big ass) truck.

I dunno WTF they did to the hood, but looks to have newer bumpers (which doesn`t look half bad) and is mostly solid (not the best pics, asked for more but guy said he doesn`t have a digital camera?

I will consider this project over the next couple of years (need to do some house projects first), if this one above was closer I`d drive there and check it out,
