I'm running 35s right now 285/60/18s are gonna be pretty small don't you think?

Huh? You were running 35s with the Monsters?

I need new tires by the end of the year and have been debating. From reading around our 4wd trucks are slightly higher than the 2wd versions. Some are able to get away with 35s and aftermarket wheels.

Been looking at old pics of when I first got my 33s and they looked to have plenty of room. I'm strongly considering 35s but don't want to buy them and have some that don't fit. :uhoh:

Yep 35x12.5x18....only rubbed a small 1"x2" square on the fender closest to the door.

If I would have ran them long term they would've been cut and modified. Was a pain to turn compared to these 295s though

But these trucks look soooooo good with wheel wells filled out.

Blackout FX4 (F150online) said he rubbed only at full lock. Was it the same for you?

When it rubbed, was it loud and annoying? Or just noticeable? i.e.- Would it turn heads in a parking lot?

Only Full lock....felt like I was tearing up front Suspension parts everytime

If you trim that little patch than it wouldn't make any noise

Only Noticeable at full lock in reverse really

Jeff, mine rubbed terribly when I installed them  Those tires have some big lugs on the side, I thought the fender was being ripped off

Sorry to be annoying with questions. :D Was it the fender flares that were scrubbed? Or the wall?

Full lock in reverse.....both tires rubbed? One in one direction and one in another?

Would cutting out a section be noticeable or mostly out of sight?

Blackout FX4 had some Trail Graps on his and he said they only rubbed @ full lock in reverse. With a more aggressive tread, I can see them rubbing a lot more.

I'll snap some pics tomorrow of where the rubbed 8 months of running them and you can see the built up rubber in some spots

Pretty sure it was mainly the fender wells nearest the firewall (if that makes sense) lower corner by the running boards

There is a little 1"x2" square that definitely rubbed

Sweet. I'd appreciate some pics. No hurry, though, as I won't start looking till the end of the month.

I'm runnin 35x12.5's STT's and they rub only when the wheels are at full turn.

It looks good, too. I love a wheel well filled out. Are you going to do any trimming or is the noise not enough to bother you?
