There are special tools you can buy to attept to do it at home. IMO...go to a shop that specializes in it.

Just because a tire leans, is pointed different from another, etc, doen;t mean that it is out of spec. There are several factors(weight, thrust angle, etc) that are calculated into performing this, not just pointing the wheels straight.

What he said !!! Just get a shop to do it. You Camber and Caster may be off too anyway.

And also, specs have compensation for road crown too. All of my trucks look out of align sitting my driveway for some reason. Not sure if its low spot in the concrete or what, but it could be where you are parked too, so Id look again parked in a differant location. It may not be as bad as you think. I never eyeball an alignment except the extreme obvious, but use my tires as a guage to tell me if its off. Just gotta know how to read your tires. How are you tires looking?????

It's not hard to get that chit all out of whack! Trust me, I know from experience. By the time you buy all the proper tools to do it right, you'd be better off letting a shop do it.

Most shops charge less than $100 to do it, and most will warranty it for 6 months to a year too. Just had mine done for $75 at a Firestone shop, that's cheaper than buying any tools.

We have a very reputable chain of shops here, that will do an alimgnment for $89.95 and give 90 day warranty, or $119.95 and its the life of the vehilce as long as you own it. What do you think I chose???

I pretty much agree. This is not a good DIY job unless you have a lot of suspension knowledge.

No Its Tires Plus, here in OK, we had a statewide family chain of tires stores who offered great customer service, good products, FREE road hazard for any time you bought from from them and a very good place to buy tires, even though a bit expensive, you got your money's worth. IF you bought a set of tires from them, they'd even set your car up on the rack, check the alignment for free, and not charge a dime unless they had to turn a wrench. So people went there for the 4 tires, and FREE alignment check and road hazaed. Tires Plus wanted to buy them out and I guess made them a deal they couldn't refuse and part of the deal was to be they carried on with the same customer service, but they also got to use the Hibdon name, so its Hibdons Tire Plus in OK. How true all those politics are, I don't know, just passing it on. But, that is where I try to buy tires, and they also do free patch flast repairs too. Good Kinda place to do biz.
