haha i talked to him and he didnt want to go lower then 170 so i told him goodluck with the sale i can get the same thing brand new with warranty online for 220 shipped

so i guess im going for the 5901 or the 5902....

That car audio giants website you showed me had the 5901 for
$219 plus shipping. Oh and no, you wont get a warranty. Only an authorized Viper dealer can give you a warranty. And anybody who sells Viper alarms online is NOT an authorized dealer, since all Viper dealers are only allowed to sell them installed.

Since you have an F150, I'd recommend spending a little bit extra and buying from Travis (KC Autosound). He does pre-wiring and includes custom installation instructions (pictures he's taken printed in a color instruction manual) for our F150s. Well worth it if you're installing it yourself. I have nothing but good things to say about buying from him.

If I were to buy a new one I'd probably take a look at the Viper 5901, especially since the 5902 came out. The price is lower and from what I understand the only major change is a new color keyfob.

the hooking up is not a problem my dad is a mechanic and electrician, worst case senior i give it to my friend that specializes in that stuff and does it for free haha
