Couple questions for those of you with trucks similar or experience with trucks like this and 4.10 gearing that may have been Black Bear Tuned...

-Was your tune mostly focused on fuel mileage???
I can't imagine that you can gain much when pulling with a tune like my diesel truck...

-If it really didn't make a difference since this will be used for towing concerning mpg's and you decided to concentrate the tune towards hp gain, what kind of gains did you see?

- What kind of mileage did you see stock? My brother has a 08 Ext cab SB 6.0 2500hd and gets about 7.5-8.5 mpgs pulling the Landscape trailer.This truck has 3.73 gearing and 6 speed tranny.

On my 07 2500HD with the 6.0 and 4.10's, I got about 13-14 mpg stock. With bigger tires and a few other mods, it dropped to around 11. I used a Diablosport Predator on it (so results will be less pronounced than a BB tune) and got a fair bump in power and gained about 1 mpg back (averaged around 12 from then on). The biggest gain from the tuner, though, was in the transmission programming. Bumping the line pressures really firmed up the shifts and improved the overall driveability. Towing with it tuned was also better than stock, and I averaged around 9-10 mpg with either my camp trailer or stock trailer.

That would be awesome if I could achieve those numbers with my trailer. My brother would be like WTF... ha ha
