I'll be damned if it wasn't a PITA to get my dremel back there!!
FWIW, I chose that spot for the switches because they're basically hidden from view there... steering wheel blocks view from the driver and keys block it from passengers. But I couldn't get a good shot to cut with the dremel and didnt realize i was grinding away at that one area
Also not pictured, but recently added is a heavy duty steel skid plate package. The 3 plates protect the front suspension, t-case and the gas tank... all of them are strong enough to hold the weight of the vehicle (recall the recent Jeep Grand Cherokee commercial). I have one more aftermarket skid plate to add to protect the trans pan and cats and i'll have complete underbody protection.... im looking forward to doing some quality wheeling soon!
Are those factory or aftermarket, and if aftermarket, source? I am looking for a set for the Ram, but the factory ones are useless and I haven't found any aftermarket ones yet.
