OK Came home from today, when out and it started right up, runs a smooth as a Rolex, warmed up shut it off and started it about 10 times. Drove around the block and then around town (small town mind you) and back. Still runs a smooth as a rolex!! Shut if off started again no problem.
The exhaust is still restricted and I think the CAT or CATS are are the issue. A closer at the EGR tube runs down between the two cats, the 02 is before the first one. I am thinking the restricted flow is messing with the EGR and causing it ti idle wierd and not start when it's hot.
No way to prove this until he pays to have the cat or cats replaced.
Question, the pipes coming from the manifold on the 300 six come into what looks like a cat. Is that a cat or is it just 2 into 1 manifold? I know the back one has to be a cat?
