Any body needing a 73-87 Long Bed 2WD truck frame? Its gotta go quick so I can't hold it. Frame only, has Rear Springs and hangers attatched, A Arms, front coil springs and spindles still attatched. Past that, its stripped. No wheels, axles, power train or body parts. Getting ready to butcher it up get my $25 in scrap for it. If interested, lemme know quick, I may be butchering toward the end of the day.

If I cut it up in small enough pieces it might. I am hoping to avoid having to cut it up. My buddy has a trailer, if its not loaded, I am sure I can use it to take it to the scrap yard. I just hate to throw away pefectly good stuff so if someone can use it..... I'd keep it if the city wasn't on my ass about all my vehicles. I guess 8 is to many for a single person. I get down to 5 running, and I'll be happy. That was the plan !!!

Can you stick it in the ground at the end of your driveway and put your mailbox on it ? :jester:

I think I might. Someone had to call and complain to the city for them to come out and write me a notice. They say is for environmental reasons, that rain washes rust in the ground, oil leaks etc. BS. The vehicles don't have any oil in them, other than the diffs, and only the one that burnt is rusty. No biggie, just means more lawn to mow now. If I got a contrete driveway, which I intend to do someday if I stay here, I could keep them back there. But here, they don't even like you changing your oil in the driveway. You are supposed to pull it into the garage and shut to door. Yeah right !!!

What ever happened to the days where you could do what you wanted to on your property. Damn politicians!

NO kidding. I bought this house because of the huge back yard with back yard access in a quiet Cul de Sac, so noone would bother me, and I wouldn't bother anyone. I lived here 3 days and the city came out and told me I could not park my Box Van and 16ft and 18ft tandem axles trailers in the backyard without having a concrete driveway going back there. I asked WTH not?? And they said because I would leave ruts in my grass and it would look terrible. Never did such a thing. I did however put the trailers back there after they inspected and all was good to go. There is even a city here within OKC, you can not even park trucks in the driveway. Its a Yuppie city where everyone drives Mercedes, Lexus etc. If you have a truck, it must be in the garage, not in the driveway. Imagine that BS. In my city, you can't park commerical trucks in your driveway. So for the guys who work for the cable company and drive their trucks home, they have to park in the garage and some with ladder racks don't fit, so they can't bring their truck home at night unless they have a concrete driveway to their backyards.
