I might be interested in that raditior-let me me how much-but i would like to see if it makes a difference and if it does i pay for it-if not then sorry.U ok with that?Mine like that one should be a 3 row high eff. and getting a 4 row for that is a big no no-way to much-be better off buying a alu. one-i checked on that at a rad. shop. The monza fan shroud is nothing its just a top half with no sides or bottom it just bolts on top-got one and it does not make a difference.I did read that thread but didnt find out what to do if its running hot.My cam is a re-grind cam---he told me it was 480 lift,110lobe,288duration and rpm 2200-6200-But on the cardboard it was wraped in it said all that above but lift it said 488 not 480.I think he said it had a 488 lift orginally. Its a eldrobrock rpm performer intake that is suppose to be good up 6500rpm-im happy with what i got just want it to be running right,I think your right thet 750eldrobrock carb seems a bit much-but i was going to leave it cause the electric fuel pump is stock (new) and in the tank and i have my dial on the fuel pressure reg. at 5 and 1/2.???The stall is 2200-2500 and it has a shift kit.Im debating on going on and tearing it apart and fixing that vavle thing issue or come back to that latter and work on shocks...I wish we could of got together when you had that monza i would of bought a few things off of it from you.I am going to put some z28 vavle springs that can handle up to a 500 lift cam and might get some 1.52 rockers-then call it quites on performance and go after looks-body work-interior...

Thanks-need to put on the headers to maybe.Headers should make it run cooler two if its been running hot -right???I found a site on here somewhere that said you have to run so much cfm to need headers otherwise its a waste-i think im around 350 horses and still safe with stock exhaust???:dunno:i got some to put on im not sure they will fit in there but if i take that head off to have that valve issue fix im going to try the headers and see i think i should put them on-i msure got a lot of pressure coming out the tail pipe.

Well i couldnt resist not fixing that clicking noise so i torn down the passenger side took off the head and its at the machine shop.i checked the compression before i took it off it was 140psi and i have (virgin)stock size flat top pistons-my question is what kind of head gasket do i put back on?i don't know if the gasket that was on it was stock or what and iv heard you can put on thinner head gaskets and it will raise the compression-i know i shoild do to the other side what ever i do to this side and i just really want it to go back together with the same gasket that was on it-so i dont have to tear down the other side-any input out there?

If you can afford the headers, run em. the truck will exhale better.

As for the pic; Is the radiator hose rubbing the power steering pump reservoir?

I think i will run the headers if i can get them on-that hose is close and i will go get a smaller belt for the pump and move it in about a inch.

I went ahead and took off the other head-lol.Im taking it to the manchine today. The manchinest is just going to do what needs to be done-he said they are 194heads.Im going to go ahead and have some stronger springs put in that are called z28 springs that can handle up to a 500lift.He said that 1 valve -valve guide was really bad-it moved a half an inch.
