I tryed not to steal it i really did I even started a help me pick a color tread! If i didnt find the 64 i got now i was looking for th 67 chevy just because of the hood and i always liked the grills in them. Anyway looks like to me you got a long way to go but if you do a little at a time looks like it can be a great truck and some fun along the way! It took me 6 years to get mine like it is now!And 3 trucks!
Dont know if you would be interested or not but this guy seem to have a lot of parts for the 67-72 pickups. http://www.nextechclassifieds.com/listings/view/163520/ He is from ks.
Besides the drivetrain, I know I'm going to have to dump some $$ on a grille. I don't even have one to work with. I think I am going to yank the engine out and get it home so I can start repairing all of the rust.
Well i can keep an eye out for stuff. Lmc truck and classic parts are to of the places i bought most if not all the parts i needed at. I had to put inner and outer rockers on and a split the fenders and put back halfs on each one.
I know there are a few places to order rockers and cab corners etc. I used LMC on my 71 I did a long time ago. I guess they are still the go-to place price and quality wise?
What i did was check prices at both places and see who was cheeper and see what shipping was if i order it all. Both places are in ks and they are like less then 50 miles from each other. They get thier part from the same places! You would be surprised what the price differance is on some of the parts.
