yup but im not so sure i care about the legals south dakota i can usually get away with alot.
Just trying to figure out if you DD'd it still cause many people say the maintenance of a turbo'd rig is higher than one with a nice Magnacharger or Whipple setup. I would see if you can get a used TVS setup and then add your supporting mods.

How much boost can the LM7 handle before the internals start needing messed with? i thought about a supercharger, cam, computer tune, if i can...try the 8.1l injectors, upgrade the heads with port and polish. I dont know how much I would gain though....A 9.5 second truck in the 1/4 is my goal.

9.5 second truck in the 1/4???? Yeah you will need a LOT more money than 12k. You will need to make a lot of power to make anywhere close to 9s in the quarter. I thought you were just trying to smoke a GT500? You will only need a low 12 second truck for that.

im willing to spend what it takes. Obviously not everyone is made of money so i can only do 1 large upgrade at a time. but i know it wont come cheap im probably lookt at around $25,000 to be able to keep up

I think he wants to blow the doors off of the GT500...

To keep up with what? the GT500? I don't think you know what it takes to make a truck go 9s. Especially a 4x4 truck that weighs 5000lbs.
