Well, at the motor shop, we got in a LSX block that we are going to build into a mean motor, that would be a great idea!!

well one of thease days i hope it will have power

ive actiauly have two pick ups to work on

the 82 is in alot better shape an will require less money heh probily not but yeah

and i have a 57 apache pick up that needs a frame off restro thats why im buildign a shop

id like a vette 427 to go in the apache im not sure but wasnt it called the LS7 or something? i maybe wrong though

Yes, the LS7 is the 427 that comes in the Zo6 corvettes. Those are some pricey motors but when done right can give you 600rwhp.

yeah i been reading about the ls7 i like it

also i found some other info about my 400sb i knew that. they could be made into a 427 sb but didnt know all that needed to be done.

but the ls7 is sweet id love to have one

now im wondering if the 6.0 or 6.1 could be made into an ls7??

Negative. First of all the LS7 is a Gen IV V8 and is an all aluminum block. The LQ series motors are Cast iron Gen III motors and can only be bored a certain amount. I have seen a few 421ci motors made out of LQ motors but you are really pushing the safety and reliability to the limit. IMO the largest I would go with a 6.0 would be a 408. Now if you really have your heart set on a aluminum 427 without going LS7, would be a stroked out LS3. All these option are going to be pretty expensive, just keep that in mind.
