Gotta get this done since found big puddle on the bed of the rollback when having it towed for bad fuel pump. Also found bubbles coming out where the pan gasket is also.

When googling. A swallow pan is flat on the bottom and deep pan has deep section on the one end on the 4l60e, right? If so mine is flat on bottom all the way across. So that means its swallow pan. Napa had 2 options for the trans gasket/filter kit.

Correct.

The deep pans drop down(or inrease in capacity) about 1/3 of the way across.

Shocker. Told you to do that pump months ago.

I know but I still had good fuel pressure. Think thats the cause of my miss too?

Low fuel pressure can cause misfire. What pressure did you consider "good"?

It tested at 52 back in September. My teacher said that was good. Thats why we did the multi port conversion instead of fuel pump. Replacing the cats is what fixed the hard timing at times.

Is this the same teacher that is is in charge of job placement for your school now?

IIRC, the pressure should be no lower than 56 psi for that system

Careful taking the drain plug out if you havent already, use the exact wrench, no sockets, no adjustable, first time I had someone else do mine they turned the edges right off of it because it seals so tight from the dealer, FWonKed my plug up..I too have deep pan, thought about drilling and threading a new plug hole, maybe just buy a new B&M pan kit..dunno, sis lost her job and I'm not allowed to work, money is frickin tight..
