350/454 vote what goes in '78 Nova

Ok brother an sisters cast your vote---which goes in the 78 nova-6500rpm 350 4 bolt 30 over---or---454 2 bolt 30 over 5800rpm engine. Nova weighs 3500lbs with me sitting in it with a 350engine with all seats...

Street/strip...I don't want to gut it out or anything-its a Nova its got to be bad!bad! BAD!---but to be able to be driven daily. Well i don't wanna get into solid lifters...it be motor alone no nos turbo or super charger stuff.

So just something you can drive to a cruise night friday night and to the drag strip sunday. I would say 350

I agree, with the torque of the 454 you would have to add subframe connectors to the Nova to keep from twisting the body out of shape. Might be a good idea any if you are going to be taking to the track.
