That's not really that bad, but still not as cool as the V8. BTW I have seen some rumors about a sporty version of the Escalade to be eventually fitted with this same twin-turbo V6, but I wouldn't be so sure about it into something with a higher load factor as the Escalade...

Power is power. One day people will realize "it don't take a V8" to make monster power and be reliable. Boost on demand is cool and way more efficient.

One ride in Alan's slightly modded 4 banger WRX STi will prove enlightening.

I do wonder about the long tern reliability of the newest overboosted tiny engines in heavy vehicles.

Power will come from a supercharged V-8, most likely the 6.2-liter LT4 from the new Corvette Z06. It will make at least 600 horsepower and send the squawk to the rear tires through GM’s new eight-speed automatic.
