Power is used and appreciated to its full potential rarely, sound is appreciated every time you drive. 4s sound cheap, 6s sound like appliances, 8s make music. V8>V6>I4 IMO. I don't recall the Ecoboost V6 out eco-ing a V8 or anyone's turbo 2.0 out eco-ing a V6 in the real world.
