I do find it funny that they mention the Fords 6.2 the most powerful when the LS3 V8 6.2 by GM packs 420hp and 450ft lbs of torque. I am sure they may eventually add it to the list of possible engines for the HD trucks. If I was going to by the gas it would have my vote. GM not including it as a HD engine option may be a strategy to push Diesel sales.

It won't be the most powerful for long. :D

GM should be going to the 6.2 truck engine soon since they dropped the 6.0 displacement from the LT engine lineup.:dunno:

That's what I thought too but I think the 6.0 is still being used for the 2014 trucks per the chevy website. But I guess it all depends on what is on the sales lot. They might be equipped with the 6.2, :dunno:

That's because the 2014 is still a GMT900. There's no good reason to spend all that time and money sticking the 6.2 in for one year.

Isn't the 6.2 available to the Cadillac Escalade? Wouldn't be any difficult to get it available to the Silverado too.

Regarding the new Hemi, that's nice but I still would like to see a new V10 available for the Ram...
