He did say that he likes this 6spd better than the one in my old Denali. But I am already on work travel, so he gets to play with the new one all week long! Sadly, the TVS is still collecting dust in the garage....

Interesting. I wonder what changed in the transmissions between '10 and '13?

I started talking to him about a Maggie and the conversation went on longer than it should have (for my wallet's sake). He gave me the confidence that I could put one on myself. Now the tough part is convincing my wife. Maybe I'll have her to that point in a year.

LOL- he had put quite a few superchargers on different vehicles, so it is pretty easy for him to do! I will say, the instructions are very straight forward, and as long as you are comfortable with your tools and in the engine bay, should be good to go.

But as you stated, they do put a damper on the wallet!

As far as the 6spds being different, I don't think so. This one is just tighter. I always complained to the dealership about this, but of course no dice.

Fortunately the truck is a garage queen so I can take my time and not worry about having to get it done in a weekend. If it takes 3 weeks or 3 months, it wouldn't matter.

But yeah, he talked about it like it was changing the oil. Ha.
