I never have been crazy about the squareness of it. People I know who own one seem to really like them though.

What turned me off even more was renting one from Enterprise while in Austin that died on me with only 264 miles on the clock. No thanks.

Yeah, and there were so many conventions going on they had no cars to give us to replace it. That sucked.

2nd: which transversal FWD/AWD tranny would hold up to the power/torque input?

Would have to have a 6L70e in there just like the TBSS. Not sure how much smaller the engine bay is than the TBSS, but I would assume they are close.

So would need to mount the engine longitudinally instead of transversely. Then why not to turn it into RWD with a Corvette transaxle???

I tried to make it better by taking you to a ghetto Texas dive for beer.
That was a great night. I got to meet the lovely Emily (where is Embonez, anyway?), ride in a toaster, and I got to see one of the greatest live music shows ever.
