Still a Slug Bug

Something it appears they didn't fix was the gigantic blind spots the rear c pillars create. That was something driving a New Beetle took getting use to and from the looks of it they left them almost identical to the previous Bug. Unless of course something on the inside is helping improve visibility ie. less plastic trim on the inside of the c-pillars.

This newer one at least doesn't look so childish as the 1st New Beetle...

Something with a rear engine and RWD would be more appropriated to use the Beetle nameplate...
