I like it a lot. I think this is one of the better redesigns of any vehicle I have seen in some time. I wouldn't desire to have one for myself but were my wife to have one, I'd drive it when necessary, no problem.

Not something I'd want parked in my garage but I think they did a good job of modernization without losing the Beetle feel.

Looks okay, but I prefer my Beetles without radiators.

My wife had a 2000 Beetle GLS and it was a great little car for us at the time. We had over 135k miles on it when it was totaled in 2007.

If I were going to buy a new VW it would be a GTI hands down. It's hard to find a car that drives like a VW for the price of a VW. I suppose this newer new Beetle will grow on me over time. It sort of reminds me of a Super Beetle compared to a standard Beetle.

They definitely stole a little from the Audi TT family on this one. That was a good thing.
