I got a Volant cold air intake for it about 2 weeks ago, still sitting in the box.

Time, Money, I have a limited supply of both. :ohnoes:

Will that do anything for your truck?

Only reason that I ask is because on the Duramax it does nothing for the truck for performance unless you are putting out 600-700hp. I did still add a cleanable drop in on mine!

In other news: I watched a new Ford f250 with the 6.7 put down 800whp with nothing more than a tune. The truck was new and might have higher numbers if it wasn't for the transmission slippage.

It was purely impressive to say the least.

how is the new truck doing?:flag:
I'm still loving it Larry, got a little over 10K miles on it and have no complaints at all. Got a Volant CAI for it just haven't installed it yet.

Started to install it but it's not a drop in replacement for the stock box, so I have been thinking about what I would cut to make it fit. Decided I would cut the Volant box to make it work rather than butcher any of the stock stuff. The little tunnel that routes air from the headlight area into the filter box, doesn't line up with the new Volant piece. So instead of cutting the factory ducting I'm going to modify the Volant air box.

This way if I remove it back to stock, I don't have a bunch or screwed up shit.

Sweet ride, J-Rod!

You really shouldn't pick your nose while driving. That stuff looks hard to clean off!
