"Wow" Nice truck!
I know how you feel. Especially when driving.:thumbs::thumbs:

I had to replace my Hitch pin after the first trip. Mine bent but the one I bought is been fine for many tows. Maybe when I got stuck in a sand trap. used the pin for the tow rope.

Now there are two mode's for the Trac control button. found out after my first off road experience.

One just push on and off but the advanced Trac control takes a few seconds of holding the button to disengage.

the other thing I use is the trans shift while in D. I liike it better than using manuel (M) on mountain roads Dounhill is an example I turn off 5 and 6 gear so then it is only a 4 speed tranny. that way the truck doesn't increase the speed more than I want. say in an area I may drive for a few miles never wanting to go over 45 or 50 mph I love this feature. I use it all the time.

You have one nice truck. We have all the same features.
Oh yeah another thing the locking diff you need to be under 20 mph to engage but will stay in untill 30 mph in two wheel dr or 4 high. I found this to be ok for me but at first I was disapointed. Turns out works fine off roading in the sand dunes and dirt roads. In 4 low the Locking is in all the time if you engage it, no 20 mph deal

Thanks for the info Larry, I'm still trying to get the basic features down but I continue to be impressed.

Why I would never work on a diesel. I don't see how Ford crammed that in there without KY jelly.

Hows the ride? Power of the 6.7?

I think they start off with the block on an assembly line and they build around that.

They don't even attempt to work on them without lifting the cab off.

Power is pretty good but has a ton of turbo lag.

The ride is smoother than the Silverado that I drove, surprisingly.

Yes, the grille is hideous but I'll have to live with it for a while.

I'm sure somebody can tune it to minimize lag. I sure as hell would not want to work on it under the hood!

I made my change with a $5.98 can of plastic spray from home depot.

the only blem so far is from the truck that hit me in the front. on the lower bar. It is a small shinny hole where the chrome is exposed. I have been through the car was many times. Just need to peel and respray the lower bar.
