We could, but idk.. I don't see much good for it, rain wouldn't be a problem they are weather proof, but the wiring and such I could see damage possible from high wind speeds.

x2, Might need to leave that to a local place. Take the caps off, sand & prep, then have them sprayed & cured and get them at the end of the day. Re-install.

The only way I would buy new mirrors is if I was to replace with the tow mirrors, which I don't think my truck is big enough to pull that look off yet ( even though there are white W/T 2wds with them, and the stock 4wd tow pkg '09+ models ) and those caps would be PTM for damn sure. Oh idk.... maybe someday i'll do it.. I wouldn't mind them, i'm all about visibility without leaning over to see the passenger wheel, just dont feel my truck ATM is tall enough for them.
