I thought the Hemi was an option in newer Jeeps. I owned a hemi for 3 months and the motor was awesome however the mileage was not my thing. Averaged 12 on a stock 1/2 ton that has MDS (dodge's name for the system that shuts 'er down to 4 cyl). For the right motor I don't mind 12 but the Hemi wasn't quite that impressive and from what I could see there wasn't the aftermarket support that the Chevy motors have. Maybe that's because I've always known chevy's and only spent 3 months looking into dodge so I hadn't quite gotten to the good stuff yet.

I'm with you on the V8 version. The Hemi is available on some models and should be a better setup.

Ever since they came out I have loved the SRT8, just wish there was a way to get a trailer hitch on it without screwing with the exhaust.
