That is pretty cool! If they could make it get 25mpg all the time, they would sell millions of them.

It sure beats the hell out of the 14mpg I get, but I'll hang on to my truck.
dont feel so bad...i get 12 hwy and 8 intown...:suicide:

That's what my trailblazer ss is getting for mileage right now about 12/8 11.3 combined right now  Can't wait for Justin to retune this thing...
the worst part is...until i get a 5spd tranny thats as good as i'm gonna get with it!!!...at least i can say i have an insane amount of torque with it..i caqn pull allmost anything with this truck and it still gets the same mpg loaded or empty...but it still sucks the gas!

Impressive.

Edit: God damn. The 3.7L V6 (non turbo) outperforms the 5.3L from GM.

If only they would make that dang front end more stylish. Heck they might even pick up a few mpg.

It is impressive, but I hate those home brew tests. They have a lighter truck going up against a 2500HD 6.0L in a 40-70 acceleration test. The fact is the 6.0L joe blow in the HD GM trucks will still have more low end torque where it's needed against a boosted v6 with big high highway torque.

Well.. Jas is right.

The 6 is impressive regardless of how the test numbers shake out in the magazines. You can bet that if Ford makes the power they claim with it, there will be plenty of people buying one!

It's got me rethinking about not buying a new truck, that's for sure! When they hit the lots I'm damn sure driving one! I'm not crazy about that bodystyle, but with a few changes they're not bad. The FX2 in the picture may even suit my taste just fine...:naughty:
