Not to worried about them being hard to clean. In my experience anything black is harder to keep clean than white is. When they were all black I gave up on trying to keep them clean.

I was definitely going for a different/unique look so glad that turned out the way I wanted. The more I look at it the more I like it....kind of like a new haircut
