Yeah I lectured her about the tires, the guy at the shop and I talked about the options. I wanted to get her the next step up in tires but we needed to get four new. She didn't want to do that.

I'm gonna keep an eye on it for sure

Let us know what the codes are for it. Also with that many miles, the plugs will need to be changed. Ac delco iridium plugs, very very easy to change on the cobalts.

I had an 07 cobalt SS 2.4, got great mileage out of it. Plugs took me 10 minuts to change, check the air filter as well. And im sure if you get that code checked and fix, a quick tune up and some new tires, it will run good as new

What kind of mileage has she been getting? I mean her car to be specific!

Hopefully the tires fix the issues! I would recommend getting something else in the future! ha

The tires helped a ton! I removed about 20lbs of shit out of it too so that helped

I spent 2 hrs cleaning it on Saturday evening. The Gas mileage has gotten a lot better. I need to calculate it one day.

Man, if you went and bought her a new set of tires with rotation, hazard, extended warranty, etc, I think you could get BJs for a year without hesitation.

You should invest, my brother.

Got the codes yesterday. She had a P0411 air pressure sensor code go off. After the new tires and alignment she is getting her usual 26-27 mpg. The sensor is super easy to change but is around $75.

The P0411 is related to the Secondary Air Injection system...

I did some reading on this looking for a diagnosis flow chart. I did find out that the Cobalt has a habit of blowing fuses for the AIR pump.
