I tried to find some HID's but couldn't find one for my fourwheeler :dunno:
If your Bruin uses H6M bulbs like my Grizzly does, you can get them from DDM Tuning for an extra fee.

my grizzly 700 has a h4 bulb, have you had pretty good luck with the hids? i dont ride my 4 wheeler all that much anymore but i have always wanted to put them in there, i put silverstars in there and they melted the chrome on the inside so i just replaced the lights

What kit did you order?
35-watt slim ballasts with 6000k bulbs.

I think I've had them for about a year now and I use them almost every weekend, the only problem I've had is a 1/4" bubble in the chrome on one of the headlights. You might not have that problem since your original H4 bulbs are around 55 watts IIRC, my old H6M bulbs were only 30 watts.

If you get them, don't bother with the Hi/Lo kits. The bulb bases feel very fragile and they don't make much difference between low and high. It wouldn't be a bad idea to get or make a relay harness though.

I'm on their website right now. I'm guessing you got the Raptor kit? Right now I have selected 35W H6M 6000K. What about a HID harness? With an HID harness and shipping my total is $66.22

Hmmm... looks like they aren't selling the slim kits anymore. The Raptor kits will work fine though, but you might have a little trouble finding a good place to hide the ballasts. The harness isn't absolutely necessary but I do recommend one.

Also, if I could do it again, I would go for the 5000k bulbs rather than the 6000k. The 6000k bulbs have a little too much blue tint than I wanted.

I may have to come up with some way to protect the ballasts. I just found this site: http://www.motorcyclehidlights.com/yamaha-bruin-350-hid-lights-c-93_507

What a rip... those are no different than the DDM kits. You could buy the H6M bulbs from DDM and get the slim ballast from another reputable HID seller. There are also a few places that sell H6M bulbs and kits on eBay as well, for much less than that. Buyer beware, however.

I don't know if your Bruin has it, but on my Grizzly there is a black plastic panel beneath the front rack. There was a compartment with plenty of room for my ballasts and wiring underneath there. You could probably even squeeze two Raptor ballasts in there.

Will non-DDM ballasts work with DDM bulbs? If I could find some slim ballasts somewhere else I may go that route. I'll have to take a look up underneath to see the best place to put them.

Yes, just about every "universal" HID kit uses the same connectors. If you have room for raptors, go that route.
